OUTLET REPLACEMENT & ADDITION
Need more outlets? Tired of extension cords? We add outlets wherever you need them and replace old, worn, or outdated receptacles with modern options including USB, GFCI, and tamper-resistant outlets.
When to Call an Electrician
Outlet work requires a licensed electrician to ensure safety and code compliance.
Worn or Damaged Outlets
Plugs falling out, outlets that spark, or burn marks are safety hazards. We replace damaged outlets before they cause fires.
Need More Outlets
Extension cords and power strips are temporary solutions. We add permanent outlets wherever you need them.
Safety Upgrades
Old 2-prong outlets, missing GFCIs in wet areas, or lack of tamper-resistant outlets around children need attention.

Outlet Installation FAQs
Can you add an outlet anywhere I want?
In most cases, yes. We can add outlets to almost any location by running wiring through walls, attics, or crawlspaces. Some locations cost more than others depending on accessibility.
Do I need GFCI outlets in my kitchen and bathroom?
Yes, code requires GFCI protection within 6 feet of sinks, in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, outdoors, and other wet locations. If your home doesn't have them, we can upgrade.
Can you convert 2-prong outlets to 3-prong?
Yes, but it depends on your wiring. If there's a ground wire present, it's straightforward. If not, we can either run new wiring or install GFCI protection, which is code-compliant for ungrounded circuits.
How many outlets can I add to one circuit?
Code allows up to 10-12 outlets on a 15-amp circuit. We'll assess your existing circuits and add a new circuit if needed to avoid overloading.
Can you add outdoor outlets to my patio?
Absolutely. We install weatherproof outdoor outlets with GFCI protection. These are great for holiday lights, power tools, and outdoor entertaining.
